Play Blackjack Online Free (21) — No Sign-Up

Play blackjack (21) free with virtual chips — hit, stand, double against the dealer. No real money, no sign-up.

Blackjack (also called 21) is a card game where you try to beat the dealer by getting a hand total closer to 21 — without going over. Play free below with virtual chips: you’re dealt two cards, the dealer shows one, and you decide whether to hit, stand or double. Beat the dealer’s total and you win; go over 21 and you bust. A two-card 21 is a “blackjack” and pays 3:2.

Key takeaways

  • Aim for a total closer to 21 than the dealer, without busting (going over 21).
  • Number cards are face value, J/Q/K are 10, and an Ace is 11 or 1 — whichever helps.
  • A two-card 21 is a blackjack and pays 3:2.
  • The dealer must keep drawing until reaching 17.
  • Free, virtual-chip practice — no real money, no cash prizes, 18+.

How to play blackjack in 6 steps

  1. Place your bet — the free game bets 100 virtual chips per hand.
  2. You get two cards face up; the dealer gets one up and one down.
  3. Add your total: number cards = face value, J/Q/K = 10, Ace = 11 or 1.
  4. Hit to take another card, Stand to keep your total, or Double to double your bet and take exactly one more card.
  5. If you go over 21 you bust and lose the hand immediately.
  6. When you stand, the dealer reveals the hole card and draws to 17. Closest to 21 wins.

Basic blackjack strategy

Basic strategy is the mathematically best play for every hand. A few reliable rules: always stand on hard 17 or more; always hit on 8 or less; double on 11 when the dealer shows 2–10; and stand on 12–16 when the dealer shows 2–6 (they’re more likely to bust). Frequently asked questions

Is this blackjack free?

Yes — completely free, no sign-up, virtual chips only. There is no deposit, withdrawal or cash prize.

What does blackjack pay?

A natural blackjack (21 on your first two cards) pays 3:2. A normal win pays even money (1:1), and a tie is a push where your bet is returned.

What is a “soft” hand?

A hand with an Ace counted as 11 (for example A-6 = “soft 17”). It’s safe to hit because the Ace can drop to 1 if you’d otherwise bust.

Does the dealer always draw to 17?

Yes — in this game the dealer must hit until reaching at least 17, then stand.

Is blackjack skill or luck?

Both. Cards are random, but good decisions (basic strategy) genuinely reduce the house edge. It’s why blackjack rewards practice.
